Hi everyone!! I wanted to share a few highlights that made this final stretch of grad school really special. I had the opportunity to present our IEEE VR 2025 poster "Preserving Privacy in VR Telemetry Data" at two amazing venues!! first in St. Malo, France, and then again at University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Research and Creative Works Expo. It was a proud moment sharing my work with our Chancellor Dr. Christina Drale, Vice Provost Dr. Brian Berry, Dr. Michael Moore, students, faculty members and industry leaders from Walmart, Forge Institute, and others. ✨ This poster was awarded 1st Place in the Mainstream Research Category at the DCSTEM Awards. 📄 The paper is now live on IEEE: https://lnkd.in/gWPjpRMr
The final stretch of graduate school felt like several timelines folding together. Work that began as uncertain questions was now printed on posters, discussed in France, presented again at the university expo, and finally visible as a body of research rather than a folder of experiments.
Presenting the same thread in different rooms also changed how I understood it. Experts pushed on methods. Students asked wonderfully direct questions. People outside the field wanted to know why motion data could identify anyone at all. Each conversation made the research clearer, and made the ending feel a little more real.
I also successfully defended my master’s thesis titled "Secure Frameworks for User Motion Data in Virtual Reality", which explores privacy-preserving techniques using synthetic telemetry (WGAN-GP with DP-SGD) and encrypted analytics with homomorphic encryption (CKKS).
I was also invited to give a Tech Talk where I spoke about my research journey and privacy innovations in immersive technologies, along with Tom Coffin, and Mohammad Jahed Murad Sunny representing our lab, Emerging Analytics Center at UA Little Rock.
I am deeply grateful to God and my family for their unwavering support throughout this journey. I also want to thank my advisors, Dr. Arya Basu, and Dr. Jan P Springer, along with my friends, colleagues, and everyone at UA Little Rock and the EAC Lab who encouraged me every step of the way.
With graduation here, I am actively looking for full-time roles in privacy-preserving machine learning, immersive technologies, cybersecurity, or applied AI research. I am excited to contribute, learn, and grow in a space that values innovation and impact.

This is still one of the threads running through almost everything I build: useful technology should not require people to surrender more of themselves than the experience truly needs. Privacy is not a final checkbox. It is part of the product architecture.
