I build spatial systems with a product engineer’s bias for working demos.
I’m Jayasri, an XR engineer and researcher based in Los Angeles and moving toward the Bay Area. My work sits at the intersection of spatial computing, privacy-preserving machine learning, and human-centered AI: systems that can sense context without turning people into data exhaust.
I recently completed an M.S. in Computer Science, published across IEEE VR venues, and built prototypes for smart glasses, headset onboarding, gaze-aware rendering, and XR telemetry privacy. I’m currently looking for research engineering, XR product engineering, and applied AI roles where rigorous ideas need to become usable software.

My research began with emotion-aware AI, moved into behavioral identification, and evolved into privacy-preserving immersive analytics. I kept asking one question: how can XR become intelligent without becoming invasive?

“If we’re using AI to replace artists and developers, why not use it to replace human identification, to protect our privacy instead of exploiting it?”
