The CLAD Summer Hackathon started with a very simple promise: four weeks and four spatial challenges, Organize, Guide, Connect, and Create. I had a workflow in mind before it began. Naturally, the next step was finding out whether it survived contact with Lens Studio lol.
Hackathons are a good stress test for ideas because there is no room to hide behind a beautiful roadmap. A workflow either helps you make decisions, get something into the world, test it, and iterate, or it is just a list of nice-sounding steps.
What interested me here was the spatial part. Organizing, guiding, connecting, and creating all change when the interface can live around a person instead of only inside a rectangle. The hard part is not adding things to space. It is deciding what deserves attention, where it belongs, and how it can feel obvious without demanding a tutorial.
I went in with one goal: build quickly, stay curious, and let the constraints tell me where the workflow is weak. That is usually where the useful learning is anyway.
