Deeply honored to have been a part of 50th SIGGRAPH 2026 as a student volunteer! The experience of contributing to such an incredible event alongside fellow enthusiasts has been nothing short of inspiring.
SIGGRAPH was sensory overload in the best possible way: research, art, real-time graphics, installations, conversations, and people who could make a very specific rendering problem sound like the most exciting thing on earth.
Being a student volunteer gave me access, but more importantly it gave me a role. I was not only observing the community from the outside; I was helping the event run and building relationships inside it. That week made computer graphics feel less like a subject and more like a place I could return to.
I’m so happy to have immersed myself in the cutting-edge world of computer graphics at SIGGRAPH! Exploring these mind-blowing innovations from around the world, connecting with industry visionaries, and gaining fresh perspectives on the future of visual technology, Everyday here have been amazing and I cannot wait to comeback next year!
Enormous gratitude to my professor Dr. Arya Basu, Ph.D. and my lab, Emerging Analytics Center at UA Little Rock for their unwavering support on my academic journey. Looking back, mentoring has become one of the clearest ways I understand my own growth. Every question from another builder makes me articulate what I know, notice what I still need to learn, and remember how much a little encouragement mattered when I was starting.
