Flow State

A Unity XR rhythm experiment paired with a web onboarding and concert-mode product demo.

Immersive music concepts need both a playable spatial interaction and a legible product journey outside the headset.

Inside the experience

What someone can actually do

  1. Playable XR sample scene
  2. Runtime music-track switching
  3. Headset onboarding journey
  4. Concert-mode web visualization

How the idea took shape

Flow State combines an XR-ready Unity scene, runtime track switching, early ECS experiments, and a React web flow spanning connection, playlists, sessions, and concert mode.

An immersive demo is easier to understand when setup, discovery, and session context continue outside the headset.

I developed the XR interaction and runtime music systems and built the companion experience spanning headset connection, playlists, sessions, and concert mode.

Where it could go next

The most useful lesson was to design immersive software as an ecosystem of moments, rather than treating the headset scene as the entire product.
