Intersections
A private, client-side identity quiz that maps four complementary archetypes into a shareable positioning chart.

Single job titles flatten people whose work spans technical, creative, research, and community identities.
Inside the experience
What someone can actually do
- Eight-dimensional trait vector
- Cosine similarity plus diverse MMR selection
- Client-side background removal
- High-resolution PNG export
How the idea took shape
Twelve questions build an 8-dimensional trait vector, scored with cosine similarity against 20+ profession-agnostic archetypes, with Maximal Marginal Relevance picking four diverse matches instead of near-duplicates. Photos become die-cut stickers via fully client-side background removal, and the final chart renders on canvas for high-res PNG export.
“People with interdisciplinary careers need complementary labels; four diverse matches are more truthful than four near-duplicates.”

I designed the positioning model, wrote the question and archetype system, implemented similarity and diversity scoring, and built the private image and export pipeline.
