Memory Sketches

Pen sketches of imagined moments pulled from real ones: hiking into hills and playing beach volleyball with friends.

These sketches are imagined moments pulled from real ones: hiking into the hills, playing beach volleyball, moving through places with friends. I did not want them to be exact records. I wanted them to feel like what stayed in my head afterward.

The lines are simple because memory is selective. A few figures, a slope, a net, a horizon, and suddenly the page holds enough of the day.
