Secure VR Visualization
A visual argument for how immersive workspaces can reduce shoulder surfing in a shared physical room.

This visualization began while working on research about ten challenges for knowledge work in XR. The secure-VR section needed an image that made one advantage of immersive work immediately understandable.
A laptop may expose sensitive information to someone standing behind the user. A head-worn display can reduce that shoulder-surfing risk by keeping the workspace off the shared physical screen, although it does not remove software, casting, camera, or device-security risks.
A rough layout established the two situations first. Friends then helped turn that sketch into the final composition: exposed information in the physical world beside a private immersive workspace.
